We only provide free pickup when items have clear resale or reuse value. This allows us to keep the service sustainable while reducing landfill waste.

Free junk removal does not include:
Yard waste can be recycled valuable mulch and compost, helping to nourish your garden and waste. However, it's important to note that even recycling yards may charge a dumping fee for this. By recycling your yard waste, you contribute to a more sustainable environment while managing costs effectively.

If your items don’t qualify for free pickup, you may want to explore these alternatives:
Operation Clean Up
Operation Clean Up is a program provided by the City of Fresno that provides a way for residential customers to dispose of bulky items. Once a year, residents are allowed to place items too large for regular trash collection at the curb.
Operation Clean Up does not pick up trash generated by any other property other than the residence being serviced. Only residences that currently pay for solid waste service on their utility bill will be serviced.
Local Free Dump Events
Free dump days for City of Fresno solid waste customers in 2026 are scheduled for
March 22-23, May 3-4, and June 7-8, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 3457 S. Cedar. These events allow residents to drop off bulky items at no cost. Additionally, Fresno County unincorporated areas have drop-off events in June 2026.
